Sometimes the problem isn’t that you don’t care, it’s that there’s so much swirling around that you don’t know which thread to pull first. There’s a property, a lawsuit, back taxes, relatives, legal words you’ve never heard, and a vague sense of a deadline. It’s a lot. When everything feels tangled together, the natural response is to freeze, because where would you even begin? If that’s where you are, take a breath.
